Week 3 in progress

Loving this weeks 'retro' theme. Using it to practice for my first wall mural project ... oh yes, you heard right!  I will be starting my first wall mural project very soon! Yippee!

I'm now working on week three's theme of 'retro' ... and taking it to the beach! I can't wait to reveal the finished product next week!

Sketching from a dream

This little character came to me in a dream last night ...

Pencil Heaven!

I was lucky enough to participate in two mother's group secret Santa present swaps this Christmas and it seems that both my secret Santa's know me quite well.  I receieved a (different) set of Derwent sketching pencils from each of them! Best gifts ever! 

They will come in super handy with my New Years resolution to draw every day.
